You will realize the confirmation screen says “Your reservation is pending.” That’s because we still need to review your driver’s license and insurance.
As a reminder, all renters must:

Be 25+ years old

Have a valid United States driver’s license and

Comprehensive/Collision/Liability insurance that transfers to a Tesla rental
After your reservation is made, a text message will be sent to you with a link to upload photos of each of the items listed above.
Our team will review and confirm current coverage details of your insurance. Please note that depending on your insurance company, this can take anywhere from a few minutes to a couple hours. Because of this review process, we request you make your reservation at least 3 hours prior to pickup. That ensures we are able to connect with your insurance company and prep your vehicle accordingly.
Once your information is verified, you will get a link to pay for your reservation and security deposit. About 30 minutes prior to your rental, a link to your digital key will also be texted to you. This will allow you to access the rented vehicle.
